[JET Chronicles] At Akiu Rairaikyo Gorge & Akiu Sato Center

 

On our way to Akiu Rairaikyo Gorge & Akiu Sato Center

After our quick tour of Akiu Otaki Falls, we stopped by the Akiu Onsen Town area for a meal. However, we arrived quite late, and most restaurants and cafes were about to close. So, we decided to visit the Akiu Sato Center and the Akiu Rairaikyo Gorge instead.

  

There were so many interesting things and displays in the Akiu Sato Center. Take a sneak peek:

I picked up a map of Akiu from there and noticed a cute telephone that Crystal mentioned we could actually use if we wanted to. Inside, there was a bear statue, and outside the center, there were bicycles available for rent if we wanted to bike around the area.

I got myself a stamp as well. However, I didn't have my travel notebook for stamps with me at the time, so I used the paper provided at the center instead. I also took some brochures and maps.
