In Japan, K-Pop events are usually held in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka. Similar to how such events are also held in Manila back in the Philippines.
Luckily, I live in Manila so I don't need to travel far when I want to see someone's concert. So when I received the fanclub e-mail that there would be an SKZ event in Sendai, I applied for a slot right away. It's very rare to have such events in my city. They set up the museum to advertise SKZ's Japan Season's Greetings 2025. It ran from October 1st to 31st. I went on the very first day. I wasn't planning on buying the Season's Greeting this year so I just wanted to see what it looks like since they said they will put a copy on display at the Museum.
I was too excited so I was at the venue too early. But no, I was expecting long lines and big crowd (because that's how it usually is back home). I could never be more wrong. haha
When I applied for a slot, we were given three possible choices so I chose three different time slots (18:00, 18:30, & 19:00) on the same day in the lottery. I won a slot for the 18:00 slot. I am not sure how many people were allotted per 30 minutes. But I think, we were not more than 30 and not less than 15.
People arrived 15 minutes before 18:00. I was there at 17:00 (yes I was an hour early) so I was the first in line. They let us line up 30 minutes before our schedule. So before 17:30 I was just walking around the music shop listening to Japanese songs from the artists my students recommended.
Since I was the first in line, I noticed a big board. I wasn't good at reading Nihongo (nor speaking lols who am I kidding?) but I guessed there was some kind of event inside the museum. When I got in I realized what it was! There were skzoo QR codes we needed to find and take a picture of in exchange for a prize when we left the venue. I found them all! hoho
The museum was such a treat to my eyes. It almost convinced me to buy the SG. haha. But I already promised myself not to since I don't use it anyway. I buy a different planner to use for work so I don't see the need to buy one. I only use the desk and mini calendars on the last one anyway.
I took pictures of the posters and asked another fan to take a picture of me in the SKZ stay area. hehe I took her picture, too, because she was also alone. I should've befriended her because I literally have no Stay friend in Japan. Most of my friends are back home. huhu.
They also exhibited Seungmin and Hyunjin's outfits on the first day. I think they exhibited different member's outfits every week.
There was also a cute Phone Booth, a big wall covered with the kid's poster, and a no-cameras allowed section where they gave us a sneak peek of the SG's content. At first, I took videos and pictures but so the no-cameras sign, so I deleted them.
Right before the exit, you'd see these cute SKZoo heroes and SKZ's messages with their signs. It took me a few minutes before I could finally capture the whole wall because many Stays were also taking pictures and reading the messages.
Outside the museum, they sold official goods and I got myself some.
Here's a video I took:
