Let me share with you a video about my getaway with the MAPEH Folks last week. Since it's a long weekend, my co-teachers planned an overnight stay at Sampaguita Beach Resort in Bauan, Batangas.
We left the school on Thursday evening and arrived there around midnight. While the others enjoyed the cool night breeze and had their drinking session, most of us were pretty beat up and slept the night away.
We woke up early the next day. Ma'am Marizel and I accompanied Ma'am Fely on her morning walk before we left her to explore the beautiful waters on her own.
We went back to the cottage where the rest are either singing, eating, or preparing breakfast.
After that, I joined Ma'am Marizel, Ma'am Marneli and her baby girl Perpet take a dip in the cool refreshing waters. I don't know how to swim by the way. Probably one of the reasons why I am not a beach person haha.
We took some photos and then I took a bath and enjoyed some time with Ma'am Fely, talking about this and that. Haha. I also forced her to try some TikTok Filters.
I couldn't really take a lot of videos and pictures because my phone battery was almost depleted so I had to charge them before we leave.
It's a bummer that I couldn't take a picture of the sunset because we had to leave around 5PM but here are our group pictures. The student teachers are also with us today.
I forgot to tell you that the road traveled was so similar to the ones back home in Camarines Sur. I prayed for a safe trip to and fro. It was funny though because it felt like a roller coaster ride. I put my hand up and acted as if I was really on one. I couldn't do that there in Bicol because we were riding a motorcycle. I might fall to my death if I do so. lol
Dad asked me to buy Buko pie and Espasol on the way home. So we stopped very quickly and proceeded to head back to school. I sent my brother a message that we are already near. I got back home before 9PM. Tiffany requested to have a class, but I was too tired. I told her we can have a class next week instead since there's a five-day holiday in China next week.
It was such a fun day!
