Is the Philippines Poor or Rich?

I actually wondered about this before. We are certainly very much blessed when it comes to natural resources. I agree that the Philippines is a rich and beautiful country.


There are many factors as to why even though we have these natural resources, we are still poor and considered a third-world country: corrupt government, our attitude, and our ways of living. Those are only some.

I bet you can think of other reasons, too, nae?

"Be the change you want to see in the world." If you want to change the system, magsimula ka sa sarili mo.

Change your attitude, change how you live your life. Kung hindi naman kailangang kailangan wag ng bumili.

Be a wise spender.

Mag family planning. Hindi yung mag-aanak ng marami. Tapos wala kang maipakain at hindi matustusan ang pangangailangan.

Study hard, work hard, earn for your family. Hindi yung isisisi mo lahat sa gobyerno. Tignan mo rin kung natutulungan mo ba ang sarili mo.

Don't vote only for the money na ibinibigay sayo during elections. For sure, babawain nila yan a thousand folds after they are already in the office.

I am not only writing this for other Filipino people to see. It is also a wake-up call aimed at me.
