I went to Fabella the other day and was talking with a friend (who btw is also a teacher there) while waiting for her students. When they finally arrived, one of them said "Si Ma'am Iglesia 'to ah..." "Bakit andito si Ma'am?"
So my friend asked her, "Kilala mo siya?"
"Yes, Ma'am. Teacher ko siya sa ABIS nung Grade 7." And then another student followed, "Nagsub ka Ma'am kay Ma'am Barberan, diba?"
There are actually two of them. lol. I don't remember their names but now that I think of it, I do remember their faces. haha. It reminded me of this quotation, "Most of us end up with no more than five or six people who remember us. Teachers have thousands of people who remember them for the rest of their lives." and that incident proved how true that quotation is.
Please don't be hurt/sad if I don't remember all of you in the future (knowing how forgetful I am lmao I always even forget where I put my mobile phone and keys)
Every year, we meet 150 to 350 students. Multiply that to the number of years we have already been teaching. Can you remember that many people? haha Just remind me who you are or even just tell me your name, and for sure I'll remember you.
There are students who I do not forget at all, though. Either they are really good in class, really bad in class, a headache and heartache to me or we are friends in facebook (in which you probably are very much active so I still remember you).
Thank you for not forgetting me. <3 p="">
