THE GUY WHO CAN'T BE MOVED
There's this guy named Ken. He's really boastful in a way that all his friends hated him for his attitude. One day, he got into a fight with his friend, Ryu. He told Ken, "You know Ken? I hate your attitude. You are really irritating to the point that everybody hates you, man!"
Ken replied with a sad tone, "What? What are you saying, man? We've been friends for four years!"
"Yes, four years! I've been keeping up with that attitude!"
Ken realized after that day that nobody talked to him the same way his friend did. He lived through his high school life with no one to talk to, or even if he had someone to talk with, he would talk how he normally does and ended up pissing him off.
That changed when he met this girl named Kelly. She bumped into Ken by accident and toppled all of her books. Ken exclaimed, "What the heck are you doing?! You've got to watch where you're going! I almost fell down!"
"Well, sorry! I didn't notice that the emperor of swagger was taking a midnight stroll!"
Ken couldn't talk back, so he just walked away. For Kelly, it made her curious about Ken, because rumor has it that he is really boastful, but that was not boastful. It was embarrassment. From then on, they started talking to each other more and more until Ken had the confidence to talk to Kelly. Her friends saw her talking to Ken in a rude but happy manner even though she's not used to having that kind of conversation. They started seeing her as a different person.
One day, Ken went to the mall to buy a gadget that he's been dreaming of. Surprisingly, Kelly was there, buying the same gadget. He noticed that there was something different about Kelly. It almost looked like she was hiding something and didn't want anybody to find out she was there.
