World Teachers Day with the HHIS Family

This 2017 Teachers Day, Ma'am Teodoro gave the female teachers a token. Yes, I'm talking about the hairband with a big silver ribbon. It's so cute. But I'll probably not wear it often. haha I look like a kiddo. lol.

We also gave our Head Teacher in English a small gift to thank her for her hard work and also as an apology for giving her stress this year. haha Sorry, Ma'am Alfaro. I swear, it is not our intention to give you a headache. I must confess, though, that Ma'am Charlyn paid for me because she said I'm supposed to be exempted since I didn't receive any pay for two months. She paid 200 instead of 100. lol.

We also had our Teachers Day lunch with the rest of the faculty. We didn't expect the scrumptious meal from our canteen. I ate a lot and was too full to even finish the dessert.

I miss my Grade 7 family, though. I can attest that they are still some of the best teachers in HHIS, both in teaching and personality-wise. They are down-to-earth and genuinely nice inside and out. Although I like being a Senior High Teacher (esp. because the students are more mature than 7th graders), I still miss these people. I've been working with them for three years, so I guess it's normal? haha. But, no matter how much I miss working with this year level, I don't think I can teach 7th graders anymore. lol. They are just too hyper and energetic for me. I can't keep up.
