HHIS' Field Trip was actually last November but I only have the time (and the will and mind) to post something about it now. I wouldn't make excuses anymore aside from the words 'work happened'.
Not many students joined because it's just around Manila. There was still quite a number, but nothing to be compared with the previous Educational Trips.
We went to see the small park just next to the Mind Museum for a few minutes. The kids were at first amazed by the different things they saw there though soon enough lost interest in them(knowing their very short attention span). We let them do the thing they are definitely a master of: "Making Noise" while we eat at Jollibee (Thanks to our generous Principal for the breakfast meal!)
When the Museum was finally open, the students were given tickets while they were asked to line up per bus number. We were let in around nine in the morning. The staff at the museum gave a brief orientation about the museum and probably the dos and donts as well ('probably' because I wasn't there when they did the orientation lols✌)
We let the students explore and enjoy themselves by taking lotsa of pictures and videos as well. It was both a fun and interesting adventure for me as well since that was the first time I had been there. After the Mind Museum, we headed to the Rizal Execution site at Luneta Park. However, it was a total waste of time. My students are clearly already getting bored so I decided to join them and make them do Mannequin Challenge, me being their camerawoman. They said it was because the man who was supposed to man the lights and sounds execution play had an emergency at home and couldn't come to work. It even rained for a short while on our way back to the bus and we all got wet (not drenched so I guess it's fine...)
Now, the fun part. Star City! Yay! We tried different rides and entered a place that was supposed to scare us (Ma'am Belle ended up scaring them instead. She kept on screaming at them before they even tried to scare us haha) My previous advisory was also standing in line ahead of us. They were so loud lol That's good. At least they had fun.
Anyway, overall, it was fun and boring at the same time. To think that it's probably the last field trip.
Can we, like, have a faculty field trip abroad? Haha I know that's a bit too wishful thinking!
