It hasn't been that long since the closing of School Year 2015-2016, and yet here we are again faced with the enrolment of the school year to come.
It's funny how we boast of not working for two months because it is summer break. When in fact, we don't really get any break at all. lol.
1. RPMS and IPCRF. That Portfolio took a week of my free time. I was too naive to think everything i worked for will be counted in this IPCRF. Sigh. I shouldn't have wasted too much time for my portfolio when not even half was taken into consideration. I will definitely be wiser next year.
2. Clearance. How does this take our summer time. When you go to school but the signatories arent around. haha.
3. Seminars and Trainings. If it isnt a division seminar /training, it probably wouldnt have a point in your IPCRF but you still have to attend because attendance is a must. sigh.
4. Enrolment. Of course, Whoelse will be welcoming enrolees for SY 2016-2017? Yep. yep. You are definitely right. Still us. Teachers.
5. Sectioning. After enrolment, since we are in seventh grade, we still have to do the sectioning of the newly enrolled freshies.
6. Brigada Eskwela. well, this one isn't mandatory anymore. They say that if you joined BE you will be given service credits.
Anyway, nevertheless, I am still grateful to be a public school teacher. It is much better than my previous job as a full time online English tutor. I get to have Summer Break, Christmas Break, Semestral Break, and tours for free. We also don't have to report to school if there's a typhoon. We also only have to render 6 hours of work and can finish the remaining two hours wherever we want, so I am very much thankful for it.
